CorrectionsMarked on the sheet

Five things wrong with most agency websites

Each of them costs a policy that never gets written. None of them is visible from inside the office.

  1. The site looks like the carrier, not the agency.

What it costs. A prospect cannot tell you apart from the agent two towns over, so the decision falls to price, and price is the one thing an independent agency does not control.

  2. Every line you write lives on one services page.

What it costs. Nothing exists for a search engine to rank when someone types "workers comp for a two-person shop", so the search that should find you finds a directory instead.

  3. The quote form is a wall of fields.

What it costs. People who were ready to talk close the tab at the VIN question. The few who finish give a producer half of what a first call needs.

  4. It is slow on a phone.

What it costs. The visit most likely to become a policy, on a phone outside a dealership or a closing, ends before the page has appeared.

  5. Nobody updates it.

What it costs. A producer who left last spring, a carrier you no longer represent and last winter's hours are all still live, and every one of them reads as neglect.

ReviseFive decisions

What we do about each one

The fix is never a plugin. It is a decision made once, in the design, and kept for the life of the site.

  1. A carrier template with your logo dropped in

A brand system set for your agency, held on every page

Type, color, spacing and imagery direction are decided once and applied everywhere, so the umbrella page and the claims page look like they came from the same hand.

  2. Twelve lines on one services page

A page per line of business, written to explain and to rank

Business owners policy, general liability, homeowners, term life, group health: each gets a page that answers the question a prospect actually typed.

  3. A form that asks for a VIN before a name

The coverage finder: what to protect, three questions, a short request

It narrows to the right line, collects only what a producer needs to call back well, and lands the request in your AMS with the line tagged.

  4. Four seconds to first paint on a phone

Hand-coded static pages, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed

Almost no JavaScript, images sized at build time, served from the edge. The page appears before the doubt sets in.

  5. A site nobody at the agency has time to touch

Weekly detail updates and 5 revisions a month

Send the change in an email. Producers, carriers, hours and lines are kept current within the week, and nobody logs in to a builder.

ImpositionSix outcomes, one bed

What changes for the agency

The site does the first part of a producer's job, and it keeps doing it after hours.

Prospects read you as established before they call.

A site composed from one brand system, in a type and colour that feel chosen, signals that the agency pays attention. That is the impression a commercial buyer or a family shopping for life coverage forms in the first second, and it is the one that decides whether they pick up the phone.

Quote requests arrive with context.

The coverage finder tags each request with the line, the office and the answers given, straight into your AMS.

The site stays accurate without your time.

Producers, carriers and hours are updated within the week from an email. Nobody at the agency logs in.

Your lines rank for the searches that matter.

A page per line and per office, plus two cited articles a week, is how an agency site earns visibility beyond its own name.

One monthly fee. Nothing itemized.

Hosting, domain, updates, articles and the finder are inside the plan. The build fee is invoiced only after launch, and 90+ PageSpeed is guaranteed.

It works on the phone in the parking lot.

Static pages open instantly on weak signal, and the finder takes a request in under a minute with one thumb.

SpecificationSix items, every plan

Everything in the monthly fee

Six things, all of them on every plan. The build fee is the only other line, and it comes after launch.

  • The site, designedA brand system set for your agency, a page per line of business and per office, light and dark themes.
  • The coverage finderFrom what they need to protect to the right line and a short quote request, in under a minute.
  • Your domain, freePoint the one you have, with every old URL redirected, or we register one in your name at no cost through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship.
  • Managed hostingCloudflare, SSL, backups, monitoring and framework upkeep. Nothing itemized, nobody logs in.
  • AMS and CRM connectionEvery submission lands in your system by API, Zapier or Make, tagged with line and office.
  • A client portal, from day oneRequest revisions, raise a support ticket and send files there. 5 a month included, weekly detail updates and 2 researched articles a week on top.

GuaranteedTwo promises in writing

Fast enough to feel designed

Every page is guaranteed 90+ on Google PageSpeed, mobile and desktop, on every plan.

Pages are built as static HTML with almost no JavaScript and served from Cloudflare's edge. Images are sized at build time and fonts load with a fallback so the copy is readable before the display face arrives. A prospect on a phone sees the page, not a spinner, and that is the first design decision they notice.

Structured to rank for your lines

The site starts ranking for local searches within 3 to 5 months of launch, or we keep working at no additional charge.

A page per line of business, a page per office and territory, 2 researched articles a week and structured data on every page give search engines something specific to index. Most agency sites rank for their own name. Yours is built to rank for the coverages you write in the places you write them.

Four proofs, and then a press run

Every stage lands on the one before it. The build fee comes last, after you have approved what is on the sheet.

  1. Sheet 01Draft

    Pay the first monthly invoice

That is the whole commitment to start. No build fee, no deposit. The plan begins and a designer at the studio is assigned to your build.

  2. Sheet 02Copy

    Onboarding form, then one call

Fill in the form with what you have; anything missing follows later by email or a portal ticket. One call fills the gaps and confirms the lines, carriers and offices.

  3. Sheet 03Proof

    We design, then we build

The brand system comes first, then the pages, then the coverage finder configured for your lines. You review a private preview. Your current site stays live throughout.

  4. Sheet 04Edition

    Live, then the build fee

On launch day the domain switches, old URLs redirect and the sitemap goes to Google. Once you have approved the live site, the $697 build fee is invoiced. Weekly updates begin the same week.

The boardFour readings

What agencies tell us afterwards

Illustrative examples of the outcomes clients report. Verified reviews are added after launch.

Now on the board

  • MULTI-LINEMoved from a carrier-supplied template
For the first time the website looks like the office. Same restraint, same colors, same way of explaining a policy. Prospects stopped asking whether we were a real agency.
    Principal, multi-line independent agency
  • COMMERCIALReplaced a generic contact form
The coverage finder does the first conversation for us. A contractor picks what they need to protect, the request shows up in the AMS, and my producer calls with the right questions already answered.
    Commercial lines producer
  • TWO OFFICESLeft a self-managed page builder
We send a producer change or a new carrier on Monday and it is live by midweek. Nobody here touches the site any more, which is exactly what I wanted.
    Operations manager, two-office agency
  • BENEFITSStarted on the Edition plan
The articles read like something our own people would write for a client, with sources. Our benefits pages finally explain what we do without sounding like a brochure.
    Managing partner, benefits brokerage

QueriesAnswered on the sheet

Questions agencies ask first

Is this a template with our logo dropped in?

No. Every site starts from a design system we set for your agency: type scale, color, spacing, imagery direction and the layout of a coverage page. The structure underneath is shared across our builds because it is fast and proven, but what a visitor sees is composed for your agency and your lines, and it stays consistent from the home page to the last carrier page.

What is the coverage finder?

A short guided path on your site. A prospect chooses what they need to protect, answers two or three plain questions, and the finder points them to the right line of business and a quote request with only the fields your producers need. The submission lands in your AMS or CRM by API, Zapier or Make, tagged with the line, so nobody retypes it.

What do I actually pay, and when?

You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $127 for Draft, $267 plus AI usage for Proof, or $647 for Edition. The $697 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you have approved it. There are no other fees: hosting, domain, updates and articles are inside the monthly.

What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?

A revision is any change request, with no limit on how much goes into one: a new producer, three carrier logos, a rewritten commercial page and a new office can all be one request. 5 are included every month, requested from your client portal. After that each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap and no hourly billing anywhere. Unused revisions do not roll over. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days.

Do you give insurance advice or quote coverage on the site?

Never. We are a website design and management studio, not an insurance agency, broker, carrier or licensed producer. The coverage finder narrows a prospect to the right line and collects a quote request; every rate, eligibility answer and recommendation comes from your licensed people. Pages carry the disclaimers your compliance requires and we write nothing that reads as advice.

Will we lose search rankings when we move?

Not if the move is done properly, and that is our job. We map every existing URL to its new page, add 301 redirects, keep page titles that were working, and submit the new sitemap on launch day. Because the new site is faster and structured with a page per line and per office, most agencies see search visibility improve within the ranking window we guarantee.
